Post-growth is an economic perspective that responds to the limits-to-growth dilemma, which recognises that, on a planet with finite resources, neither economies nor populations can continue expanding indefinitely. Through this, me and my group were tasked to fully utilise our skills and find a way to imagine a post-growth world where the use of shipping containers was significantly reduced.
To combat the use of shipping containers that import produce via ships, planes & other vehicles, we created ‘The Aranya Project’. A local farm community located in rural areas of the UK where small communities can come together to grow their own local produce and learn to share amongst eachother.
